Description

11" pre-1891 François Lanternier became established porcelain workshop in 1857. When his son Alfred Lantenier joined the company the name was changed to A. Lanternier in 1890. I know by this stamp that this piece was made no later than 1891 as the stamp totally changes in that year and a new factory was opened in Limoges. This is why you see several stamps because the pieces may have been produced in one place and sent as a blank to another to be decorated. There were quite a few artists responsible for the hand painted pieces and I was not able to match this signature to a specific artist.
