THIS IS A WONDERFUL AND VERY RARE ORIGINAL ANTIQUE HALLOWEEN ORNAMENT OF A MONKEY WITH TOPHAT AND CANE SITTING ON A FABULOUS CRESCENT MOON. THE FANTASTIC MOON IS A LARGE 6 INCH SIZE. THE MONKEY IS COMPOSITION WITH GLASS EYES AND IS ABSOLUTELY FULL OF CHARM AND WHIMSY. THE MONKEY WEARS A TOPHAT AND CARRIES A CANE. WE BELIEVE THE EARLY ORNAMENT IS FRENCH ALTHOUGH IT MAY BE GERMAN. IT DATES TO CIRCA 1900-1920! The moon is 6 inches tall and the monkey is 3 1/2 inches tall. There is a bit of cracking on the back of the monkey which shows as white in the photos.
